Civil Engineer II

O’Brien Engineering, Inc. seeks a full time Civil Engineer II to work in Carrollton, Texas to assist with design and construction projects (construction administration but not construction management) such as airports, bridges, channels, dams, railroads, and roads. Assist with estimating costs and personnel and material needs, preparing proposals, and establishing completion dates. Travel to visit job sites and support clients within local DFW area and sometimes within Continental U.S. Hybrid work permitted, with working 2 days remotely and 3 days in the office permitted.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

EXPERIENCE: 24 months experience as civil engineer in training or civil engineer performing design and analysis using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.

TRAVEL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

10% – Domestic travel within DFW area and CONUS to visit job sites and support clients.

Hybrid work permitted, with working 2 days remotely permitted and 3 days in the office

required.
