Civil Engineer II
O’Brien Engineering, Inc. seeks a full-time Civil Engineer II to work in Dallas, Texas to assist with design and construction projects (construction administration but not construction management) such as site developments, drainage designs, channels, dams, etc. Assists with estimating costs and personnel and material needs, preparing proposals, and establishing completion dates. Travel to visit job sites and support clients within local DFW area and sometimes within Continental U.S. Hybrid work permitted, with working 2 days remotely and 3 days in the office permitted.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (The employer will accept a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 24 months experience as civil engineer in training or civil engineer performing design and analysis using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Domestic travel (10%) within DFW area and Continental U.S. to visit job sites and support client. Hybrid work permitted.
